Dr. Karim J. Torres
Hello! I am Dr. Karim Torres, a licensed clinical psychologist, health and wellness coach. I have worked in mental health settings for about 15 years and in community support and psychoeducation settings working on issues of mistreatment, abuse, neglect, trauma, resilience, behavior problems, problematic use of controlled substances, and autism, among others. As a mental health professional and mother of two children with neurodiversity, I know that the person who needs the most attention and care is a woman/mother who is trying to take care of everyone else she loves. I personally went through compassion fatigue which with God's help strengthened my faith and connected me to a community of amazing women. I was able to realize then that the satisfaction of a mother's needs is equivalent to the happiness of her family. We know that as a mother we don't have enough time to seek help (for you and your family) as easily and constantly as we need it. That is why as a team we are working to create this space for you mom. An accessible space, mainly virtual, of radical acceptance with professionals with great knowledge and experience in different fields of integral health. Where you will receive support, compassion, empathy, calm and a change of mentality for your well-being. Where not only you will benefit from this process but also us. Something I have learned in my process of watching my boys grow and develop is that our life stories, our challenges and the way we face them is already learning that we can offer to others. Everything we have carried out teaches us so much, the challenges my children have overcome make me admire them. I know we will learn a lot from each other

Dr. Milairis Oramas Trinidad
Hello! My name is Milairis, I have been working in the counseling field for about 18 years. Very close to women and their life situations. Especially mothers who face so many challenges.
I am a licensed professional counselor, life coach, and doctor of Christian counseling.
Very few share the difficult face of motherhood. I am not ashamed to say that motherhood has been the most beautiful challenge but ultimately the most difficult. Many people feel bad about exposing this part of motherhood. Perhaps because they think that it is revealing their failure or saying that it is a lack of love for our little ones. Not at all. In my case, I am the mother of two teenagers and these boys have been in charge of teaching me about life, patience and unconditional love on all levels since day one.
From a very young age and despite all the circumstances I lived through (which I will be able to share with you little by little in the support groups) I had my goals clear, I had my life planned step by step and babies were not part of my agenda.
My agenda was not 100% focused on me because my desire was always to serve others and honor God in all my plans. But without a doubt it did not include dedicating myself body and soul to some children who stole my heart from the moment I found out they were in my womb.
But it was very hard. Very hard! Achieving a balance between being for them, caring for them, loving them and at the same time honoring my needs and desires as a woman and person. I do not regret a single day of them and I am proud to see who they are becoming. I feel full and accomplished. Can!
I am super happy because we will be providing a beautiful space for you where we can talk about this and much more. I am sure it will be of help to you.
Tell me, have you felt that challenges exceed your strength?
